Your series was so well done that the kids...Amanda,
Your series was so well done that the kids and I had excellent conversations about the importance of math and science in many different careers. My students are much more aware that they need to have skills to carry off to high school, and then to college. Q wants to be an automotive technician/teacher, A hopes to be an actress, M wants to be a veterinarian, LE wants to become an airline mechanic, C is interested in a military career, LD would like to be a professional wrestler, B plans on being a police officer and R wants to be the president or an engineer! When we read your blogs and look at the awesome pictures, it helps us understand that it takes many players to make a goal successful. Everyone's job is extremely vital in this effort. I'm glad that you gained alot from the experience and am grateful that you took the time to write for us and to answer our questions.
Please convey our thanks to your shipmates for being open to our curiosity and helping us understand what they do. The kids gained MUCH from your effort! They are anxious to meet you!
Thank you, Amanda, for bringing the JOIDES Resolution to our classroom! Can't wait to collaborate with you on some cool lessons and experiments. Love you more.Mary Turnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05295196350125687794noreply@blogger.com
